This morning I went to the city with the bus to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. Nashville is the capitol of country music, that's why that museum is on my TODO list :) The museum is an impressing collection of old disks, music instruments, concert cloths, posters and movies. There is really a lot to see and you can spent hours in that museum. Next to a permanent exhibition there is a special exhibition, during my stay one about Rebe McEntire. You learn everything about origin and development of the country music and the representatives. The museum is really fascinating ....You are promenading in the history. The heart of the museum is the Hall of Fame. Here are hanging all priced personalities of country: producers, songwriter and the artists. It is the highest award to hang in this room :)

Hillsboro Village is small but nice :) Strictly speaking it is just one street with many small shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants and colorful house walls. It is totally cute! And if it hadn't been raining all the time I would have stayed longer. But pitty, it was a bit uncomfortably wet. That's why I just walked through one time to see it and then I went to Vanessa's work on the university area.
After the tour through the museum I need to fortify myself with a lunch. Afterwards I took the bus to Vanderbilt University because in the south of the university area is the quarter Hillsboro Village, which was an advice of Vanessa.

I hoped she would take me home with car after she finishes work, instead of walking back the whole way in the rain. I knew in which hospital she is working because of the day when I brought her to work but I didn't know in which department. At the main entrance of the hospital I was asking the information .... and indeed they know her :D But they couldn't reach her on the phone. I needed to call her on her mobile phone which didn't work from my own one....off course.... So I borrowed a phone from someone else :D and a short time afterwards Vanessa came to the entrance hall. She wasn't ready with her work yet but I waited in the hall reading a paper and then we were driving home. It was a bit later than planned already, so we didn't cook because the two guys Chris and John were coming which I also know from Ghana. We were going out to eat in a mexican restaurant and we had a great evening :) It was wonderful to see all of you again!!! :)
