Heute morgen bin ich mit dem Zug nach Inari gefahren und habe mir den berühmten Fushimi Inari Schrein angeschaut. Dieser ist bekannt für seine langen Gänge aus orangeroten Toren. Ich hatte Glück und morgens noch eine Zeit erwischt, wo die Gänge nicht mit Touristen überfüllt sind und konnte ein paar tolle Schnappschüsse machen. Ein Teil der Gänge war total ausgestorben und es herrschte eine tolle ruhige Stimmung.
This morning I took the train to Inari and visited the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine. It is famous for long ways with orange-red gates. I had luck and was in a time when the ways are still not crowded with tourists and I got some very nice snapshots. A few of these ways were totally empty and there was a wonderful silent atmosphere.
Am Nachmittag habe ich mir dann noch das Nijo Castle, ein 400 Jahre alter Amtssitz der Shogune, und den Imperial Palace angeschaut. Beides sind beeindruckende Gebäude.
The afternoon I visited Nijo Castle, a 400 years old place from old shogunes, and the Imperial Palace. Both are very impressive buildings.
Und nun geht's wieder zurück nach Tokyo. Morgen steht ein Ausflug in die japanischen Alpen an.
Now it is going back to Tokyo. Tomorrow there is planned a trip to the japanese alps.
