Heute war ein spannender Tag denn ich durfte am Morgen einen echten Kimono tragen und mich wie eine echte Maiko (eine Geisha in Ausbildung) fühlen. Ich hatte einen Termin bei einem Photographen und 2 nette Damen haben sich um mich gekümmert und mich geschminkt sowie mir mit Sorgfalt den Kimono angezogen. Und wer nun glaubt, dass man für so einen Phototermin nur eine einfachere Version eines Kimonos bekommt, den muss ich leider enttäuschen :) Ich hatte mehrere Lagen an, vom Unterkleid über Unterrock und mehreren Oberteilen zwecks der Kragen bis hin zum eigentlichen Kimono mit mehreren Taillengürteln. In denen fühlt man sich wie in einem Korsett, so fest wird man da eingeschnürt :) Aber das Endergebnis kann sich sehen lassen :)
Today was an exiting day because I was allowed to wear a real Kimono in the morning and feel like a real Maiko (a Geisha in apprenticeship). I had an appointment at a photographer and 2 nice ladies took care of me, they gave me make-up and put me the Kimono on. And if there is somebody believing that I just got a simple Version of a Kimono for such a photo-session, then I have to dissapoint him. :) I was wearing several layers,beginning with an underdress to underskirt and different layers above for the collars to the Kimono itself with several waistbelts. In this you feel like in a corset, so strong it is bind :) But the result at the end was very nice :)
Da der Photograph in Ginza ist, sind Fumiko und ich hinterher durch die Haupteinkaufsstraße von Ginza gelaufen. Ginza ist das El Dorado für alle, die viel Geld los werden wollen. Hier tummeln sich nicht nur internationale Designer und Marken wie Rolex, Prada oder Louis Vuitton sondern auch eine Menge japanischer Designer. Ein architektonisches Highlight hier ist das Kabuki Theater, eine mehr als 100 Jahre altes Gebäude.
The photographer was located in Ginza, that`s why Fumiko and me, we were walking through the main shopping street. Ginza is the El Dorado for everyone who wanna give out lot of money. Here you can not just find international designers and brands like Rolex, Prada and Louis Vuitton but also a lot of japanese designers. An architectural highlight was the Kabuki theatre, a more than 100 years old building.
Ein Spaziergang durch die Hama-rikyu Gardens anschließend, weg von den Menschenmassen, sorgte für eine relaxte Atmosphäre. Von hier aus starteten wir eine Bootstour entlang des Sumida-gawa in Richtung Asakusa und konnten neben der Entspannung Tokyo vom Wasser aus genießen.
Afterwards a walk through Hama-rikyu gardens away from all the people made a relaxed atmosphere. From there we startet a boat trip along the Sumida-gawa to Asakusa and we could relax and enjoy Tokyo on the water.
In Asakusa sind wir durch die unglaublichen Menschenmassen Richtung Senso-ji gelaufen, entlang der unzähligen Souvenirshops :D Am Senso-ji war es nicht weniger voll mit Menschen :D Aber es ist ein beeindruckender Tempel mit gigantischen Laternen und vermutlich der älteste buddhistische Tempel in der Region.
In Asakusa we walked through an unbelievable crowd to the temple Senso-ji along a lot of souvenir shops :D At the Senso-ji it wasn`t better with the crowd :D But it is an impressive temple with giant lanterns and it is possibly the oldest buddhistic temple of the region.
Ohja, was ich vielleicht noch erwaehnen sollte :D An jedem Tempel kann man aus einer Box eine Nummer schuetteln. Jede Nummer steht fuer etwas besonderes im Leben, wo man Glueck hat. Man bekommt also zu der geschuettelten Nummer einen Zetterl, wo steht, was man machen muss, um in etwas bestimmtem Glueck zu haben. Und was ziehe ich? Unglueck..... :D Ich soll also gar nichts machen, da das eh alles nicht klappt und gut ausgeht :D
Oh yes, what I maybe should mention :D At every temple you can shake a number out of a box. Every number stands for something special in the life where you will have luck. After shaking you get a letter for your number and there is written what you need to do to have luck in this special thing. And what do I shake? Unfortune .... :D I shouldn`t do anything because it would go wrong anyway :D
Danach gings noch auf einen kurzen Sprung zum Skytree, dem aktuell höchsten Turm der Welt mit 634 Metern Höhe. Oben waren wir nicht, aber es war schon beeindruckend, davor zu stehen.
Afterwards we have been shortly at the Skytree, the current highest tower of the world with 634 meters height. We haven`t been above but it was already impressive just to stand in front of.
