Gestern abend bin ich völlig übermüdet (hab nur 3 Stunden geschlafen) aber heil und pünktlich in Tokyo/Japan angekommen. Fumiko, eine Freundin, holte mich zusammen mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Tochter vom Flughafen ab und führte mich gleich in ein typisch japanisches Soba-Restaurant. Was die Gerichtsauswahl betrifft, habe ich das Fumiko überlassen. Die Karte konnte ich sowieso nicht lesen :D Ich habe eine leckere Suppe mit Sobanudeln und Seetang gehabt, dazu frittierten Fisch. Und dann hieß es aufpassen was die anderen machen :D
Yesterday evening I was landing very exhausted and tired (I just slept 3 hours) but save and punctual in Tokyo/Japan. Fumiko, a friend, picked me up from the airport and lead me directly into a typical japanese restaurant. Recording the choice of meal I let it to Fumiko to do that for me. I could not read the menu anyway :D I got a delicious soup with Sobanoodles and seaweed and fried fish. And then just checking what all of the others are doing :D

Ich habe heute einen ersten phantastischen Tag in Tokyo verbracht :)
Erst hatte ich ein typisch japanisches Frühstück bestehend aus Reis, Bohnen, Räucherlachs, Omelette, Suppe mit Tofu und Alge, Gurke und pflaumenähnlichen Früchten in Stachelbeergröße.

Danach gings mit Bus und Bahn in die Innenstadt zum Meiji Shrine, einem alten Tempel aus der Meiji-Zeit.
I spend a wonderful first day in Tokyo :)
First I had a typical japanese breakfast with rice, beans, smoked salmon, miso soup, cucumber and plumelike fruits in berrysize.

Und wie es der Zufall so wollte, war genau heute eine traditionelle japanische Hochzeit auf dem Gelände und ich durfte direkt ein paar traditionelle Kimonos in passender Kulisse bestaunen.
Accidentially there has been a traditional japanese wedding ceremony in that temple and I was already allowed to see some traditional Kimonos in the fitting scenery.

Danach gings noch nach Shibuya, der Shoppingmeile für die japanische Jugend. Ich kann nur sagen: viele Menschen und Reizüberflutung vom Feinsten. Das Warenangebot war nicht nur reichlich sondern wurde auch überall entweder durch riesige Werbetafeln oder lautstark übers Mikro verlautet.
Afterwards we went to Shibuya, a shopping mile for japanese Youth. I can only say: many people and a sensory overload from the best. The offer was not only big, they also showed it with many commercial yard signs orthey shouted it very loud with microphones.
